Types Of Vaginal Infections We Treat

  • Yeast infection (candidiasis)

    Caused by Candida fungus overgrowth. White cottage cheese-like discharge, intense itching.

  • Bacterial vaginosis (BV)

    Bacterial imbalance causing thin grey discharge with fishy odour.

  • Trichomoniasis

    STI causing yellow-green discharge with odour.

  • Recurrent vaginal infections

    Frequent infections may warrant further investigation with a gynaecologist.

When to Go to the Emergency Room Instead

Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you or someone with you has:

  • Severe pelvic pain with fever (possible pelvic inflammatory disease — go to ER)
  • Vaginal bleeding outside of normal menstrual cycle with pain

If you are unsure, go to the ER. It is always better to be safe.
