Types Of Fractures & Broken Bones We Treat

Bone is broken but remains aligned. Often manageable at urgent care.
- Stress fracture
Tiny crack from repetitive stress. Common in athletes.
- Wrist fracture (Colles’)
Common from falling on an outstretched hand.
- Toe or finger fracture
Small bone fractures — usually managed with buddy taping or splint.
When to Go to the Emergency Room Instead
Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you or someone with you has:
- Open fracture (bone through skin)
- Significant deformity or displacement
- Fracture with loss of sensation or circulation
- Suspected spine, hip, or pelvic fracture
If you are unsure, go to the ER. It is always better to be safe.
