Types Of Ear Infection We Treat

When to Go to the Emergency Room Instead
Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you or someone with you has:
- Sudden severe hearing loss
- Swelling behind or around the ear
- High fever above 103°F
- Significant dizziness or balance loss
- Stiff neck alongside ear pain
If you are unsure, go to the ER. It is always better to be safe.
