When to Go to the Emergency Room Instead
Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you or someone with you has:
- Difficulty breathing (anaphylaxis — call 911)
- Rapid swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
- Multiple bee stings
- Suspected black widow or brown recluse bite with systemic symptoms
