Types Of Fever We Treat
- Fever from respiratory infection

Fever with no obvious cause — we assess and test to find the origin.
When to Go to the Emergency Room Instead
Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you or someone with you has:
- Fever above 104°F (40°C) in adults
- Any fever in an infant under 3 months old (go to ER)
- Fever with stiff neck, severe headache, or light sensitivity
- Fever with difficulty breathing
- Seizure associated with fever
If you are unsure, go to the ER. It is always better to be safe.
