Find Nearst LocationOverview
When a bone injury is suspected, an X-ray is the essential first step to confirm whether a fracture is present and how severe it is. At Reddy Urgent Care, our on-site digital X-ray gives our providers clear imaging to assess fractures accurately — the same visit you walk in. Results are reviewed immediately and treatment, splinting, or referral is arranged without delay.

- Pain and tenderness directly over a bone following a fall or impact

Types Of X-Ray & Fracture Assessment We Treat
- Non-displaced fracture
Bone is broken but remains aligned. Often manageable at urgent care with splinting and orthopaedic referral.
- Stress fracture
Tiny crack from repetitive stress or overuse. Common in athletes and active individuals.
- Wrist fracture (Colles')
Common fracture from falling on an outstretched hand. X-ray confirms displacement and guides treatment.
- Finger or toe fracture
Small bone fractures — managed with buddy taping or finger splint following X-ray confirmation.
- Rib fracture (minor)
Painful but often managed with rest and pain relief. X-ray confirms the fracture.
- Ankle and foot fracture
X-ray differentiates fractures from sprains — guides splinting and weight-bearing decisions.
When to Go to the Emergency Room Instead
Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you or someone with you has:
- Open fracture (bone through skin) — go to ER immediately
- Significant bone deformity or displacement
- Loss of sensation or circulation below the fracture
- Suspected spine, hip, or pelvic fracture
If you are unsure, go to the ER. It is always better to be safe.
